OUR MISSION
Our mission is to rescue and provide refuge to dogs rescued from both the meat market and the streets of China. We are committed to ending the suffering of these innocent animals by offering them a safe haven where they can heal, thrive, and find loving forever homes. Through relentless advocacy, education, and collaborative efforts, we strive to raise awareness about the plight of these dogs and work towards eradicating the cruel practices that harm them. Our ultimate goal is to transform their lives and contribute to creating a more compassionate society that values and protects the well-being of all animals.
WHEN DID WE START THIS
Puppyguardian Shelter was founded in 2021 in China, to save street dogs and meat market survivors.
FOUNDER: THE MAN BEHIND THE DREAM
After years of the COVID-19 epidemic, James (on the right) felt that he must do something meaningful in his short life. As a solar engineer, he invested decades of income into establishing this shelter with his friends to help these helpless dogs. He hopes that his behaviour can affect other people in the world who enjoy helping animals, thereby establishing a community to help stray animals.
He often says, “Everyone can change the world a little bit”.
